“Excuse me, Dan.”

“Yes? What is it?” I asked, taking my rucksack off.

“Would you like to know how I got my name, my dear?” asked Cuddles, positioning her large, muscular coils either side of her. “Want me to tell you how?”

My eyes widened as I closed my rucksack and managed to sling it into the open Tardizord door.

“Erm...hahahaha! Actually, rather than telling me how, I think you’re planning to show me how, aren’t you?” I replied, laughing nervously.

“Why, yes! Hee-hee! My, you’re such a fast thinker! But then, that’s to be expected from my dear artist.” laughed Cuddles, bringing her snout to the tip of my nose and gently licking it. “Well, may I? Pretty please?” she coaxed sweetly, bringing the end of her tail to my shoulder.

I blinked and went bright red.

“Er, w-w-well...heh-heh! Since you’ve asked me so nicely...” I stammered...

Shortly after Cuddles confirms me as her artist and I put my sketchpad back in my rucksack, she asks pretty nicely if she can tell, or rather show me, how she got her name.
